Be the first to see Tracy Rodriguez Photography’s latest Fairfield County, CT photo shoots.

I’m relocating! But don't you worry!

I'm excited to share that my son and I are moving to Connecticut to be closer to my family. Somehow 2.5 hours away has felt like an eternity, especially this past year. But the good news is that it's not actually that far and I plan to come up to Massachusetts at least once a quarter to photograph all of my beautiful yogis, elopements and families.

I am feeling all the emotions over here. All the highs of what's to come and lows of what I am leaving behind. Mostly, I feel such extreme gratitude to be so connected to two places. Thank you all for being such an amazing community to be apart of.

I'll be photographing here through July and taking most of August off to move and be fully present for my son's 4th birthday.

And if you're looking for a home in Dedham, send me a message for the listing. We have been pretty obsessed with this house and our quiet little family friendly neighborhood.

Giverny, Saint-Émilion and Aubeterre, France Captured by Tracy Rodriguez {Prints Available for Purchase}

Normally when you click over to my blog, you'll see photographs of yogis all around Boston and couples saying their I do's, but today I want to share with you a personal trip I took with my husband Thomas two years ago to the south of France. It's been completely lovely to revisit these images after so much time has passed. The main focus of the trip was for our friend's wedding, my husband was the best man, but of course {insert French accent here, anyone?} I couldn't leave my camera behind.

{And, if you know me well, you'll know that I don't bring my camera, or even take out my phone for that matter, when I attend weddings as a guest. Research actually shows that you remember events better when you're not behind your camera or phone. I always want to be fully present. And, let's be honest, I don't want to get in the photographer's way either. I'd rather he or she document the bride and groom without a sea of phones and cameras and if I'm being photographed, I'd rather it be of me laughing or tearing up than holding a phone in front of my face. But, I digress.}

Without further ado, please enjoy some photographs from our trip. You can click any image below to enlarge it and then tab through to view more while still enlarged. And if you'd like to make a purchase, prints are available for sale in the gallery linked below.

We arrived in Paris with mostly wedding events so my camera stayed tucked away in the city of love, but, my personal request for the trip was for Thomas and I to sneak off one morning to Monet's Gardens in Giverny. You'll see a few photographs from that excursion to start. While it's set up as a major tourist attraction now, it was still pretty incredible to see Monet's home and his famous water lilies.

The scenic view shots take us south with a quick stop in Saint-Émilion for lunch. We then traveled to our main destination in Aubeterre-sur-Dronne, Chateau Le Mas de Montet. Most of my photographs are of this beautiful castle and quaint town.  Even if only for a short while, it was definitely an unforgettable experience to live in a chateau in the south of France.

Where have you all been traveling lately? Are you like me and have images from years past? I encourage you to dig them up and relive a bit of your wanderlust.

Much love,

Tracy

TEAM Tracy Rodriguez Photography is coming to Yogathon 2018!!

Yogathon 2013

As many of you know, I have been involved with an incredible nonprofit, Yoga Reaches Out, for the last six years. Each year I have committed to fundraising, to introducing the organization to more and more friends and family, to joining their committee, and, last year to forming my first ever team for New England Yogathon! This year, I am excited to say that I am again forming a team and I would love to have you on it!

Yogathon 2012

If you've been there you know, there is just something absolutely incredible about this day. The collective energy in the room of 1,000 giving, like-minded, beautiful people is palpable. I look forward to this day like a kid waiting for Christmas.

To give you a bit of background, each participant is asked to raise a minimum of $250 for Boston Children's Hospital. And through those donations along with sponsorships, I am so proud to say that this event has funded an incredible wellness center for the families and loved ones at Boston Children's Hospital, providing yoga, reiki, massage, and more.

Along with the personal goal that I set for myself each year of $1,000 in fundraising, I am adding to that the goal of gathering people to join Team Tracy Rodriguez Photography for a day of yoga with a purpose! So please mark your calendars for Sunday, April 29th, at Gillette Stadium (Foxboro, MA)!

If you have any questions, please feel free to email me at tracy@thrgallery.com or call me at 203.984.0013.

And, you can view, download and print photographs from previous years here.

 I'm looking forward to seeing you on the field!!

Maternity Leave Update!

Hi friends! It's been a while so I thought I'd write a quick post to check in and let you all know how we've been doing.

My little baby Mateo is quickly approaching six months at the end of February and I can hardly believe it. We have been enjoying all of the newborn snuggling (although, I'm not allowed to call him that any more now that he's passed three months!) Having this time together has been truly amazing. Watching his development has been one of the most fascinating experiences of my life. And his little smiles and laughs and cuddles are so completely rewarding.

I have decided to extend my maternity break with him for the time being. Do continue to reach out as I have been keeping a list of those to reach back out to when I start shooting again. I will likely ease back in in the warmer weather. And of course, if you've already booked a wedding, have no fear, I will be there. I'm just not taking any more on for the time being. I promise to stay in touch here on my blog and on facebook and instagram when I have updates for you.

Lots of love,

Tracy
