Happy Anniversary, Karen and Walter!

Last year I had the pleasure of photographing Karen and Walter's intimate wedding at the Colonel Blackinton Inn in Attleboro, MA. I can't believe it's been a full year since then! Here's to wishing the happy couple a very happy anniversary!

Attleboro, MA Wedding at Colonel Blackinton Inn {Karen + Walter}

Earlier this month I had the pleasure of photographing Karen and Walter's intimate wedding at the Colonel Blackinton Inn in Attleboro, MA. This couple definitely had karma on their side because rain was slotted for the whole day but when the morning came, we actually found patches of time where the rain was only a faint drizzle, barely noticeable really, so that we could walk across the street to a lovely park and photograph this beautiful couple outside on their wedding day. We were able to sneak out again after their vows to the front porch of the inn to take some special photograph's with the groom's daughter and bride's step daughter. This little munchkin was so adorable to photograph.

As I wrote in my first blog post at Colonel Blackinton Inn for Elizabeth and Sean's wedding, I absolutely love photographing at this venue. If you're planning an intimate wedding here, please do reach out! I'd love to be a part of your day.

This wedding is part of my series of intimate weddings. These range from courthouse elopements to up to three hours at any venue of your choice, be it structured like this one or in a park or other unique location. These are my favorite weddings to photograph. My intimate wedding and elopement couples always win my heart.

Enjoy!

And here's a shout out to all of the amazing vendors that made this day possible.

Borrowed & Blue - Alfresco Summer Wedding in Attleboro - By Tracy Rodriguez Photography

Boston Wedding Photographer

Last August I had the honor of photographing Elizabeth and Sean's intimate wedding at the Colonel Blackinton Inn in Attleboro, MA. This wedding is exactly why I started photographing intimate weddings and elopements, to capture so much love between two people, their family, and their closest friends in a smaller setting. It just completely warms your heart. I was smiling all night capturing this beautiful wedding. And I'm thrilled to see it now featured on Borrowed & Blue wedding blog.

If you'd like to read more about their wedding day, you can see Elizabeth and Sean's Blog Post for all the details including a full list of vendors.

You can also click over to see the full post featured on Borrowed and Blue. Enjoy!

I loved every minute of photographing Elizabeth and Sean and their beautiful family this past summer. I met Elizabeth through the yoga community only earlier this year but she is one of those people where I felt as if I'd known her forever. From taking her yoga class to photographing her wedding, I can say that she is one of the warmest, most down to earth people I have ever met. Of course with a personality like that, you can only imagine that the person she's chosen to be her partner is also incredibly real and compassionate as well. And, meeting her three girls on her wedding day was so much fun as well! All three are incredibly sweet, so much fun, and awesome as bridesmaids!

Photographing Elizabeth and Sean's love on their wedding day was so refreshing. {No pun given all of the rain that day!} You could see it in their faces during their ceremony, from the sincerity, to the huge smiles, this couple had my heart melting. We were super lucky that the rain parted for a short while to grab some photographs around the property and at a beautiful park across the street. And while we didn't see a rainbow during photographs, I am certain that one came out later that day, a sign from her father on her wedding day.

Colonel Blackinton Inn was the perfect venue for this wedding, a totally intimate and relaxed setting, completely beautiful all around. This venue is winning my venue of the year award for sure because not only was it completely beautiful to photograph, but the staff was so incredibly friendly and accommodating. They went above and beyond in all of the ways that matter, literally getting their hands dirty to make everything perfect. I highly recommend them to those of you looking to host an intimate wedding. {And please pick me to photograph it because I now cannot wait to get back here to shoot some time soon!!}

I hope you enjoy looking at all of the fun, all of the love, and all of the awesome dance moves as much as I loved photographing them! Enjoy!

Elizabeth teaches at NRG in Mansfield, Universal Power Yoga in Norwood, SheBreathes Balance and Wellness Studio in Walpole and Firefly Yoga in Foxboro. I highly recommend checking out her yoga classes!
