Boston, MA Yoga Photo Shoot in the Arboretum {Danae Laura}

I had such a great time working with Danae Laura at our fall yoga photo shoot in the Arboretum. The best part about shooting at the Arboretum is that the trees and scenery are constantly changing with the season so each session there is completely unique. For this session, Danae and I both immediately noticed the light coming through a group of trees that was just stunning. We started there and almost as if we had ESP, we both gravitated towards the same areas in the park. We utilized a gorgeous yellow tree that amazingly had not yet lost its leafs and some gorgeous green areas. At the end, Danae also spotted a low tree branch that looked as though it was made as a platform for some yoga poses. It was truly a stunning shoot. Take a peak!

Boston, MA Yoga Photo Shoot in the Arboretum {Sheri Breen Yoga}

I absolutely loved photographing Sheri Breen in the Arboretum this October. Sheri brought with her a very cool combination of Prana Vinyasa, movement inspired by Shiva Rea, Yin, Restorative, and Kundalini Yoga. The Arboretum is one of my favorite locations to photograph because it is always changing with the seasons so no two photo sessions look the same. And this time of year, with the colors changing to such vibrant yellows and oranges, we really lucked out with a gorgeous background in all directions. I think she looks absolutely radiant! Boston, MA Yoga Photo Shoot in the Arboretum {Morgan Furze Yoga}

I am so excited to share this preview with you of my yoga photo shoot with Morgan Furze. This past Monday was my first day back post heart surgery and I feel so lucky that it was with Morgan. This was my first time working with her and I have to say that her beautiful personality and constant smile made it such a great shoot to start back with. The air at the Arboretum was so refreshing. Although we've had many ninety degree days, Monday evening was just perfect and not too hot. We found some very cool blush colored flowering plants along with many beautiful greens. Morgan actually studies trees and forests at Harvard {along with teaching yoga there} so this setting was quiet apropos. She is also recently recovering from hip and wrist surgeries so this photo shoot was in part to celebrate her recovery. She was ready to rock out and capture both strong and simple poses. Congratulations to Mary Mallard who graduated from Waltham Yoga's first Teacher Training this past April! Mary began teaching at Waltham Yoga right after graduating and has also started a business to help small businesses {with a focus on yoga/fitness/wellness businesses} develop their social media marketing plans.
