Boston, MA Yoga Photo Shoot along The Charles River Esplanade

This photo shoot is exactly what I love about Boston. There is just something about the charm of the city, the beauty of the Charles {as long as you're not swimming in it} and the whole energy of being near the water and near the city at the same time. The sail boats, the sunsets, the touristy gondolas all play at my heart strings every time. The Esplanade along the Charles River will always have a place in my heart after taking countless walks there while at BU. At the time I didn't realize how lucky I was to have the city at my fingertips.

Walpole, MA Yoga Photo Shoot at Bird Park {Universal Power Yoga Teacher Training Mini Sessions! Round 2!}

I am so excited that I was able to work with the teacher training group at Universal Power Yoga again for mini sessions. We held the mini sessions at the beautiful Bird Park, in Walpole, MA and mainly utilized the gorgeous stone steps as our backdrop for the majority of the images. You may remember we photographed the first group of UPY teacher trainees at this same location last fall but with quite a difference look given the New England foliage at the time. It always amazes me how unique each set of images truly is, even when at the same location.

Boston, MA Yoga Photo Shoot in the Arboretum {Morgan Furze Yoga}

I am so excited to share this preview with you of my yoga photo shoot with Morgan Furze. This past Monday was my first day back post heart surgery and I feel so lucky that it was with Morgan. This was my first time working with her and I have to say that her beautiful personality and constant smile made it such a great shoot to start back with. The air at the Arboretum was so refreshing. Although we've had many ninety degree days, Monday evening was just perfect and not too hot. We found some very cool blush colored flowering plants along with many beautiful greens. Morgan actually studies trees and forests at Harvard {along with teaching yoga there} so this setting was quiet apropos. She is also recently recovering from hip and wrist surgeries so this photo shoot was in part to celebrate her recovery. She was ready to rock out and capture both strong and simple poses.
