Boston, MA Yoga Photo Shoot {W/ Lauren D'Angelo}

I could not be more thrilled that the beautiful Lauren D'Angelo was my muse for my first yoga photo shoot of 2017! Lauren's energy was absolutely palpable during our photo shoot; it was a blessing to photograph both her positivity and kindness that radiates in her smile, and her strength that comes through in her challenging poses.

This lady has a ton of amazing events and classes coming up that I'd love to shout out. You'll definitely want to check them out starting with her Family Yoga Workshop this Saturday, 3/4 at Universal Power Yoga in Norwood, MA. She has also created an amazing vin/yin style workshop called Evenflow which she'll be teaching at She Breathes Wellness and Balance in Walpole, MA on 3/10 and 4/7 and back at UPY on 4/21. You can sign up for these workshops and see her regular class schedules at UPY and Stil Studio in Dedham, MA through each of the studio's websites. Lauren is also teaching an outdoor yoga class to benefit Smith Farm on 5/6 at the beautiful Borderland State Park in Sharon, MA. How cool is that?

Lauren chose this charming brick Breather space in Boston for her photo shoot which photographed absolutely perfectly for this session. We had a gorgeous sunny day so the light coming in through the windows was abundant and we definitely capitalized on that to capture lightness in both the more accessible and the more challenging poses. We then headed down to the waterfront to incorporate some of the iconic Boston harbor into our photo shoot. I can't wait to share a few previews today!

Milton, MA Photo Shoot Outdoors {w/ Mary Keohane}

I could not be more excited to share previews from my yoga photo shoot with Mary Keohane. Earlier this week, Mary and I met in her gorgeous backyard to capture some yoga photography for her small business. Let me tell you, her backyard is just as lovely as she is. Complete with a stone structure, beautiful trees, and a brand new gorgeous pathway full of growing greenery, I was in a photographer's dream. It's truly a sacred space to photograph and I am sure that is not just from it's pure beauty but more so mainly to do with the woman and family cultivating it. Mary and I chatted about her classes and teachings and how she likes to create spaces for small groups to really become a community. In her classes, she provides a safe and supportive environment for her students to explore and grow; and, she makes sure that each student feels they are getting personalized attention. From working with Mary just this one time so far, I can tell you that she is a completely beautiful person inside and out, with an authentic, nurturing and inspiring energy. I cannot wait to get to one of her yoga classes myself!

Announcing Chakra Power Yoga Waltham!!

I could not be more thrilled to announce that one of my closest friends, Nicole Burrill, is opening her second yoga studio, Chakra Power Yoga Waltham this weekend! And yes, I recognize that this post is completely filled with logistics and details and all things non personal because if I were to go into how proud of I am of this girl and what she has done for and brought to the yoga community and to me personally, I'd be balling in a hot second and we wouldn't want that. Woburn, MA Yoga Photo Shoot {Centre Yoga Woburn}

I absolutely love working with the team at Centre Yoga. Jen and Michelle are so fun and fun-loving and each time I go there I can see that reflected in all of their teachers and community. It's a very happy place to be. For this photo session, we grabbed some yoga class and barre class photographs along with my favorite, the studio details, and we continued to capture head shots for their staff.
