Tracy Rodriguez Photography Desktop Calendar Free Download

Thank you for making 2016 an incredible year!

I cannot tell you how much I appreciate all of this community's continued support of my business. From the Facebook shares to the Insta likes, to the referrals and continued word of mouth, I truly thank you for everything you do.

How it works! Download your 12 desktop calendar images and on the 1st of the month, set your desktop background or mobile lock screen with the image corresponding to that month! It's that easy! {Detailed instructions below.}

As a small gesture of gratitude, I have created a digital desktop calendar that's yours free! This calendar is full of calming yoga photography that I have created with my 2016 yoga clients.

You can see a preview scrolling right here and click through to download via the links below.

All images are © Tracy Rodriguez Photography. This calendar is intended for personal use only and my not be further distributed.

Detailed Download Instructions - Desktop:

  1. Click on the button above that says "Download Tracy Rodriguez Photography Desktop Calendar". A dropbox website will open in a separate tab.
  2. You will be in a folder called "2017 Desktop Calendar - Tracy Rodriguez Photography." Highlight all images by clicking on the first one, holding down the shift key, and then clicking on the last one, and then right click and select "Download" to download all images. A zip file will begin to download. Or, download the files one by one.
  3. Once the download is complete, open the zip file if downloading all at once to see all images. You will see the download at the bottom of your browser. Or, if you've xed out of that, you can find it in your downloads folder.
  4. PC - Right click on your desktop, select "personalize" and under "background" click "choose your image" and find the image corresponding to that month. From there, choose your fit. I recommend "fill", "fit" or "center" and not "span", "stretch" or "tile" to view the image and calendar well. OR, you can right click on the image and select "set as desktop image".
  5. Mac - Choose Apple menu > System Preferences, click Desktop & Screen Saver, then click Desktop. Find the picture you want to use and select the fit.

Detailed Download Instructions - Mobile:

My Favorite Yoga Poses to Photograph {2016 Recap}

My yoga clients often ask me which poses photograph best and the answer, always, is ... it depends. I love to photograph the poses that make you smile completely, burst into laughter or simply feel all the feels. They're the ones that show people your personality and all of your uniqueness. Needless to say, this varies by yogi, by season, by day sometimes. So it's hard to give one generic answer. I want to capture the poses where you feel confident, happy, strong, tranquil, energized, etc. etc. etc. depending on what makes you you, how you want to market yourself, and truthfully, how you are feeling that day. I find new love for poses watching all of you explain to me why you love them, why you're hosting a workshop dedicated to them, or why you practice them for an extra 10 minutes at the end of class even when the teacher doesn't queue them. If you have a yoga photo shoot scheduled or you've been thinking about reaching out, take time to think about it. What makes you, you?

That said, this answer is often met with a half smile at best. So, with the it-depends-caveat in mind, I've put together a top 10 list for you of poses that I found absolutely beautiful to photograph this year.

Here are are my top ten poses to photograph in 2016!

I have all of my yoga clients include at least one seated pose in each session because I find simple seated postures to feel approachable to the viewer and show off your beautiful faces! These are great for marketing "about me" sections on your website.

A big thanks to all of my 2016 yoga clients! Included above in order of appearance, Anna Saluti, Whitney Fitzpatrick, Kathryn Ford Richter, Jessi Dellert, Rachel Hunt, Julia Tirabassi, Lynne Minchello, Stephanie Kirkos, Shauna Burke, Shanel Anderson and Theresa Laham

Thank you to my Yoga Studio Partners! {2016 Recap}

As we come into the last month of 2016, I wanted to take a moment to extend a huge thank you to all of this year's yoga studio partners. I absolutely love working with your teams for studio shoots, mini sessions, celebrations, events and more. I love working with your teachers, being introduced to your communities, and {gush, gush} becoming closer friends over pizza post sessions.

To all of the owners, the studio managers, the behind-the-scenes-geniuses who create these amazing communities, I thank you, from my heart, for the amazing partnerships we have together. Here's to wishing you a wonderful end of year and continued success in 2017! To you, I bow.

Why am I posting this up a full month before the end of the year? Well, holidays can be a stressful time and for me personally, I know I'll be ramping up my yoga practice at these studios over the next few weeks. Hopefully, I'll see many of you there!

Boston, MA Yoga Photo Shoot at the Arnold Arboretum {w/ Anna Platnikova}

If I've said it once, I'll say it a thousand times, I absolutely love shooting at The Arnold Arboretum. I just love that no matter when you go, there is something new and something lovely and something unique to fit with my lovely and unique clients. And this yoga photo shoot with Anna Platnikova was no exception. The only exception here was that Anna was referred to me by none other than my adoring husband! And I have to say, while he's enjoyed a handful of yoga classes {thank you, Chanel Luck and Nina Petruzzo} and used to attend my classes when I was first teaching, this is the first time a yoga teacher has reached out to me as a referral so kudos to him! {And you should have seen the smile on his face when I told him!}

Photographing with Anna was an absolute dream. She is completely stunning, incredibly kind, and has the best smile. And, as all of my clients know, if you laugh at my dorky jokes, you're golden in my book. Towards the end of our session, Anna put on the most radiant blush dress and white floral crown and I swear my jaw dropped. Shooting yoga poses in unique outfits to fit your brand {ahem, shout out to my marketing major} is something I absolutely love. It helps distinguish yourself and shows your character and I am all for it. Needless to say, I could not be more excited to share a few previews from our yoga photo shoot.

You can find Anna teaching Health Yoga Life in Boston and can learn more about her by following her on Instagram. Enjoy!
